Its 7.36 and am sitting on horden beach.
Av been here since 2pm and had one bite a coaly, got blacks, razor, rag, lug, clam, squid and prawn very disappointing.
Got to go now just in case fish decide to start biting lol.

You have my sympathy mate, same happened to me on the Hall yesterday - good tide, good conditions five hours fishing for two poxy coalies.

I know what you mean sean that sometimes works but at horden i've caught cod, bass, coaly's and whity's at different states of the tide, but then am not really one for moving around anyway mate, I tend to fish to chill out a bit as work can get slightly stressfull.
It did get a bit better no codling about but ended up with 4 coaly's and 7 whity's kept 3 of the bigger whity's for supper, a lot of the lads coming off beach hadnt caught nowt

trick from the mersey when the whiting are about, add a swimfeeder full of liver, wont work in big seas as you will get pulled out but certainly used to work well in the river for us
