Me and me mate Hooker fished Horden beach tonight. First time out in over 25 years, Been getting a hold iv some gear the last couple iv weeks. feck me , there was a canny swell on.
Couldn't hold bottom, Fished 5 hours with only a 1 1/2 pound cod on Hookers rod to show ferrit. Taken on lug tipped with asda's best frozen squid....

Lost ten sets of weights and a couple of shock leaders between us, but
really had a good laugh.
There were a few lads fishing when we arrived but they all called it a day after a couple iv hours.
We persevered and got soaked.
Not be long and we'll be oot again.
This could be a start to another fixation with sea fishin'..
