Had a few hours on Horden beach today lads. Bit disappointing only one very small Coalie. Had some cracking bites but none connected. Had to leave at 3pm but felt it would pick up when dark. Canny little sea on and some colour in the water.
Mick.

No fishing tomorrow as I am away on Monday fishing for Durham Police in the nationals at Chesil beach Dorset. We away till Thursday so prepping gear.

You jammy get lol.

He thinks he is fishing Chesil, the weather forecast says otherwise.

Bit gutted because I have wanted to fish there since I was a kid but as it stands it will be too dangerous to fish chesil due to strong southerly wind.

They might be able to fish the Cove but looking at that forecast Chesil itself will be a death trap this week. Long way to travel as well to be screwed by the weather.

Had some cracking sessions on there over the years but in any kind of southerly or south easterly it becomes unfishable

Preston beach is the alternative, my enthusiasm is draining for the long drive now. If i wasn't letting others down I probably wouldn't bother.

It's been poor, plenty of small stuff about especially in the dark. I managed 1 just under size on Friday.
