headed down about 11am, tide right out, had a nice slow set up and coffee, had a good play with me new rod and reel and started to get the hang of it, john h came down and had a few cast while showing me how to use me reel, then he pulled his little belta in!

5 flatties between us and i had a just sizable flattie, then two coalies just say making size then we ran out of rag haha.

had some great tips and advice and lessons on casting today from john h and saf, cheers lads! :thumbup: turned out a kanny day like and am well chuffed with my rod and reel, and nice to see a few diferent fish come out.

jp was over the moon with it as he only popped down to show me some casting multi's and a bit crack on

now ive been shown how to used it properly haha its not that bad i havent been pure smashing it out yet like its all good lol

aye not a bad way 2 kill off a couple of hours only came down 4 a bit castin practice but ended up being tempted into stickin a rig and a bit rag on happy days.
