Horden Tonight

Fished Horden tonight. Well tried anyway, couldn't hold bottom. Not even with 7oz & fixed wires. Quite a few out, all having the same problem. Didn't hear of any fish caught. Got plenty of bait left so going to try again when the sea eases a bit.

Same here Tony. Stuck it out for an hour but every cast was dragged up onto the beach within ten minutes even walking 30 yards uptide before casting. You know it is time to pack up when Jim Dobie walks past you and says it is a waste of time.

Wasn't a total waste of a trip, had a dodge up to Shields and fished just before the first gate for a Flounder, a nice Dab and a pin Whiting so I got a reasonable few hours out of it.
