went in search of hounds with my son james and mark was.nt looking ti promising with torrential rain and a lift on the sea but it turned out to be a great day with bass ,whiting,& plenty of hounds the biggest 9lb 14 the average fish was about4/5lbs but we also had a few more in the 7/8lb bracket
One of the hardest fighting fish in British waters (only fish I've ever caught that has taken line off me), and like Mackerel they are a doddle to catch. If they are there and you put a crab bait in front of them you will catch one
ha! phil mind with thier being a sea on and james getting well into the less turbulent water defo paid off me and mark had to try and wade out a bit to get the baits anywhere near james at 1st we got peed off as he was getting them every chuck then his arms got tired so he let me and mark reel 1 in for him but then i started to get more myself and so did mark
