Tidied up my spare room last night as I need to do some hardcore studying over the next month so had to tidy up the fishing gear a little...

It amazed me how much gear I actually have:

• 3 x Beachcasters
• 3 x Spinning Rods
• 1 x Fly Rod
• 1 x Flattie Rod
• I x Boat Rod
• 2 x Coarse Float Fishing Rods
• 3 x Rod Rests
• 1 x Beta Box
• 1 x Large Tool Box for Boat Gear
• 2 x Headlamps
• 5 x F/Spool
• 4 x Multis

etc etc etc

I know for a fact there'll be peeps with even more than that...but I only live in a 2 bed Tyneside Flat ....gave up doing the mental maths as to how much I'd actually spent (bearing in mind I only really started fishing seriously last June) :red:

shed loads, literally, due to being a major sufferer of the hoarding disease. me shed contains 5 beach rods, 8 fly rods, 6 spinning rods, 5 carp rods 6 boat rods - I flogged about a dozen rods/reels late last year to try get the numbers down, probably more than a dozen multipliers, about the same number of fs reels, about 15 fly reels. half a dozen landing nets, 3 pairs of waders, 10 stacking boxes filled with masses and masses and masses of tackle, 2 stacking boxes and 2 suitcases filled with tying materials and tools.....

there's also over 1000metres of various ropes, a few anchors, 2 outboards, fuel tanks, redundant boaty bits, about a dozen lifejackets, buoys fenders, lobster pots etc

its been so long seen I saw the far end of the shed, there could be a whole new lifeform evolving in there

I really don't know about how much gear I have, I would have to do a stock check
As for headlights..................... more than two

I seem to remember Mr. B having a few also lol.

Was fishing one time and the bairn found some line someone had dumped, a big twig and a bust large swivel. he tied one of the line to the end of the twig, tied the swivel on the other and then tied a piece of mackeral strip on. He spent a full hour pulling up crab after crab after crab - still talks about it now years later!

I caught nowt as usual of course.
