Guys after speaking to an inexperienced angler the other day thought I would post this for some advice to those that may need some.
Cheers Mick.
My rig box-nowt flash

Attach a lead clip on the bottom of your mainline-I use about four feet of mainline about 60 lb break strain then feed on your bits.

I put three of each on then crimp one at the top of the rig one at the bottom and one in the middle.

Attach the snoods usually about 12-14 inches. I just make sure the hooks on top two crimps and swivels do not catch with each other when you hold the rig.I like the 30 lb line as it does not get many knots.

Put a swivel on the top before you start crimping.

Pic of the complete rig.

Then store away nice-note on this rig I have cheaper 1-0 hooks but prefer Sakuma stinger Match hook size 1-much stronger and catch rate has gone right up since using them.

some of the different types of crimps you can buy cheap as chips from e-bay for crimps, beads, swivels even the crimping pliers.

Tight lines Mick.

You can get them crimps off any electrical site, try uk crimps.co.uk they sell all crimps inc crimpers aswell :-D:-D;-) . Scratching is basically fishing for whatever is in front of you, scaling down hook size from 2/0 to size 4-6 you should be into sport pretty quickly :-D:-D:-)

Get the manual crimper mate. The ratchet ones are designed for cable and bite into your line too much. You can feel how much to crimp them with the manual ones, in fact for crimping to nylon, pliers do just as well.
