Just had a text message from one of four S/S lads who have gone over to Iceland on a recce for a match to be fished in September.

The text read: Fishing F*****G great, loads of cod and loads of catfish.

Sounds a bit good to me.

one of my mates is with them.he's had three double figure cod today one 12 lb yesterday,another lad had one 16lb today,bigger ones lost as well

yesterday the weather wasn't too good so everyone went to the blue lagoon, a natural hot spring.

today it was back to the fishing and i stuck some more photos of a few of todays fish on the link above.

ok so im living in Reykjavik and would really appreciate the locations where all this fishing is going on. lol went a couple of times last week and caught nothing but i am still experimenting with tackle and bait as i have not fished in 20 years.
