Hello lads

Have any of you ever used one of these before to go fishing in ?

dunno what there like to fish out of, but for £125 it'd be worth stashing one on the boat....

wonder how big they are deflated and packaged..

no personal experience of what i would call an inflatable drowning device

dont confuse this rubbish with other inflatables used by divers rescue services etc etc(im not suggesting you are:exclam

you will have gathered by now im not a fan of this type of stuff,main reason is that there is normally only one or two inflation chambers so if one goes your are sunk

also quality of welded seams etc

realise i have quite a lot to say on the matter for someone who has no experience of them so i havent really answered your question

I dont think hooks would be the major issue here, if you were out and an offshore breeze picked up i reckon you would struggle to make headway back to land.....I have had three inflatables but all been RIB's with outboards....
My advice would be forget it.....the sea isnt very forgiving....

I second that.
My brother and I set out to sea in a vessel of about the same stamp as the dingy you are thinking of getting once (only once honest)
Even in a flat calm sea with no wind it was dead scary.
I remember thinking what am I doing in the North Sea on a lilo powered by a whisk?
