Italian Cruise Ship

Seen the headline news this morning that an Italian cruise ship struck a sand bar and then capsized, luckly early reports say only 3 have died. The ship is fairly new and has sister ships. An Italian ship in Italian waters they must let any Idiot at the wheel.

It. Will be. Interesting to see what went wrong, sounds like he was taking a shortcut only a mile offshore when the usual route is 5 miles off, no one seems to know what they hit , but it was something substantial to rip a hole that size in that hull. Still 50 missing, I hope they are ok.

apparently they hit a sandbank...but i cant imagine sand making a huge mess like that, i would have thought more of a clean break, but it will come to light soon...lets hope they get more off safe and well.
