Fished a mark at Jarrow last night from 6pm with Jimmy Brooks, John Powell, Steve Maws and Jordon. The session started off very quiet with no fish for 3 hours. The fish came on around 9ish and Jim had 2 codling in two casts, one was 3lb 1oz and the other was 4lb 11ozs. The other lads were catching whiteys and flatties and around 11.30 John had a cracking bite and this resulted in a cod of 6lb 12ozs. I didn't have a bite all night and I fished for a total of 7 hours. That's fishing for you.

brilliant bag of fish mate. theres a decent stamp of fish in the river this winter
