This name changing is nowt to worry about, in fact it might be good thing..:)
We left the marina at 7.45 to a gorgeous sea...

First wreck me and Big Tel ( Highly Excitable ) were into fish straight away but mine dropped off on the lift :(. We fished the wreck for a few hours taking 11 fish, 7 of which were 5 to 6lb with one just shy of 8lb ( Big Tel's ).

Around 12.00 we headed for another favourite and took 9 fish off that wreck again some nice fish around 4 to 5lb and a Pollock of 5lb ( Tel Again ).
All in all a cracking day with 20 fish for 81lb.:)

You missed a good day Ian, but there'll be plenty more mate. :)

I had the radio on channel 6 for a while Norm but started getting interference so i switched off, then forgot all about it till around 3.00. I got 2 fish on orange storm shads as well, first ever :)

Thanks for the replies lads, hopefully many more days like today to come for all of us..
tried the shads today and had 2 fish on them, :) Forgot to say Orange was the colour for us today..;)

Seems everyone is into the fish right from the off , brilliant :) , I must say , the reports with photos are much more interesting :red: , great stuff!

That’s a great catch, well done. Worrying about changing the boat name is all a superstitious load of pollocks; it’s didn’t bring you any bad luck today. I wonder if Neptune mistook Stingray for your boat though ;) and sent his gremlins northwards.

Jester, back with a kick ass start to the season. Fantastic haul of fish Chris/Tel. Can't see the trawl net in the pics anywhere:D. Chuffed for you's both, cracking day afloat.:):)

It's good to see fish coming off the rough ground as well, we didn't try any today, just wrecks, but it seems no one blanked which is great.:)
