Well i had the day off work and the weather seemed nice so what the hell....what a fantastic day weather wise, got a good tann.
Anyway the fishing was nothing special but steady away all day, we could have went to the rough ground and hammered the codling in the 1lb-4lb range but since the weather was nice we thought its worth a risk fishing the wrecks.
Most wrecks produced codling and ling with a couple holding some nice size coalie and also..my fav fish in the sea mackerel, landed 16 of them in about 10mins on the drift over the wreck.
So went home happy with a few mackerel left after using them for bait and a few nice fillets of cod.
I think the biggest fish was a ling of about 9lb ont he day.
