Cracking weather day but the fishing was hard all day...still everyone on the boat caught 8-12 fish each along with the mackerel,whiting and so on.
My catch was 5 ling upto 7lb, 2 codling upto 5lb, 1 pollack around 7lb and 1 catfish
around 4lb along with a gurnard, a whitng and loads of mackerel.
Canny day and i was over the moon at the catfish as i had not caught one for a couple of years...caught it on the pirk of all things lol.
I cant see many making it out over the wekend, sea building all the time in the afternoon and winds for the night strong East...jfk had already called his off.
Happy fishing, next trip thursday.
