What an end to our season! Steamed out to the first wreck and straight into a bait ball of mackies for bait ,nowt else but a few whiteys. Onto the next one and bang one of our stand in lads was straight into a nice fish 18lb cod ( lucky bugger, caught nowt else). As usual Alan was here there and everywhere looking to get us on the fish Bob Slater nailed a nice ling at 11lb. Few P.B's Jeff Pratt18lb cod, Donna Hillery 7lb ling and 4lb cod Gary Hillery 3lb cod (never been out before) , the big lad aka Fat Stalone 6lb pollack, 8lb ling and a horse mackrell (think?) The different types of fish amazed everyone from your usual. cod, ling , mackerel , horse mackerel, whitey, pollack, coalie, scotchie and a couple of flatties. Me and me son ended up wih just over 2 stone of fillets and a good soaking on the way back heading into a southerly wind but that's all part of the fun. Don't know if this will help any lads still fishing but a blue and white sidewinder with a strip of mackie was doin the bis for me and the youngen
