Where do I start, had that many :casstet:
One of the biggest nightmares was last year Octoberish, 01:00, drove 20 miles to Port mulgrave, there was a cracking sea on so I was in a bit of a rush to get down.
Got my gear out of the van and set off, I was thinking all the way down (its as steep as hell and about 200\' high) I\'m sure I\'ve forgotten something.
Got to the bottom without slipping over which was a bit of a bonus, clambered over the car size weed covered rocks to get to my favourite spot, its about 100 yards futher out than the high water mark and gets covered with about 20\' of water at high tide.
get myself sorted and tackled up me two rods. Put the traces on and

OH SH!T WHERES THE FOOCING BAIT :casstet: :casstet:

. Id only left it in the van.
So off I got back up the cliff (it kills you getting back up there believe me).
Got my bait and headed back down (a little slower this time , knackered).
Crawled back over the boulders and back to the spot where I was 1 hour ago.
it was about 1 hour of the flood by the time I got my rods in the water, sat back and waited for the cod to come on (certain to get fish there that night).
After about 15 mins my frigging cap lamp went off (blown bulb)

, so there I was middle of the night, stuck amongst giant week covered rocks with the sea streaming in and not another soul for at least 1 mile

.
I always carry a little led torch in my floatation suit pocket, so I thought ok I\'ll get myself out of here quick (WRONG) :exclam: , could not see a bloody thing and did not notice that the battery compartment of the torch had came undone, now the PANIC started to kick in :exclam: :exclam: I really thought I was a goner.
I had to crawl about 100 yards over massive rocks to get to the safety of the jetty, my hands and knees were in shreds off the barnacles and crap.
But the elation of making it of them rocks was overwhelming

.
Last hurdle was to get back up that bloody cliff without even the slightest bit of light.
It took me about 2 hours to find my way back upto the van.
Now I carry two lamps with spare bulbs and batteries and that led torch with tape over the loose cap.
Fingers x,

lightning never strikes twice
Yes I had a mobile phone but you cannot get a signal down there mores the pity.
