What a wonderfull morning :), could have been July, and a few cod showing not in any numbers yet though. ;) A few of us braved the wintry conditions ;D

Great report and pics. That looks great fun mate.
If you were to recommend a kayak for a newbie what would you choose?
And also are you in a club as it's something i really fancy giving a go but would only go out with a group for obvious reasons as i have drowned before and had to be revived:o:o:o
Any info would be appreciated.

Aye, nice report Mick. I must admit I was a little bit surprised at how much your English language has improved...words such as wonderful don't often get used by you. Then I realised your dad originally posted it on Anglers Afloat. Should have known better:rolleyes:

Cut and paste then a couple of deletes helps the dilexia:)

No club as such but plenty of local lads going out. We normally organise meets on the web site anglersafloat. As for a kayak it depends on your size and ability. A lot of lads start with a big game prowler which are very stable but heavy and a little slow. Anglersafloat contains all the info you need and when you've read up keep an eye on the let's meet then you can come down and have a go of different kayaks when we're out before you buy....

Was looking at the charts today jeff theres loads of wrecks on the darkside within paddling distance. How many have you tried?

just fished the one level with the blocks fished the one at the end of the pier before mick
goes from 40ft to 25 at low tide ,some nice features on the sea bed ,but no fish at the moment:D
