i though i could just fix a box or what not on?

ideas? ta!

Most of lads use a sit on type kayak for fishing, easier to self rescue. Ive never paddled a sit in kayak, but unless your experienced I imaginge all kinds of problems if you were to capsize. These kayaks are designed for touring etc, whereas sit ons are generally designed as a stable fishing platform.
However, if you have experiance with these yaks and can perform eskimo rolls etc, with a few mods, there should be no reason why you couldnt fish of it.
In my opinion, you would be better off looking for a sit on, if its for fishing.

If you would like a hand learning how to roll I could show you how to go about it. I used to go kayaking all the time and would like to get back into it but I don't have anyone to go with. It would be a good chance to get back into fishing too. Haven't done that in a while either.

ive been kayaking many times before and know how to get out after rolling over, obviously, id need a few pointers as its been a while.

know one will let me get one as its dangerous, im not ene thinking about hitting the water untill ive had a bit craic with a few lads, read up on it, bought the relevant safety gear and such.

Well if your serious about it you will need to know how. I need to spend more tine on the water and less in the club  I don't have nothing flash. Just a general purpose kayak, a Daiwa meansrteak and a slosh30
