I assume you mean as a freebie as it's against the rules to try and sell gear outside the trade section? Yes please! :)

Whats the crack like? as i ordered a front fender last week from them £24, money taken out the bank 3 days later... was expecting it to come maybe Monday enxt week.
 
I should have read the reviews first - they are very very very crap if the reviews are to be believed. I spent the tenner on 2-5 days delivery. Which was on the 8th so already late.

I tried calling, only to be told to use the online order checking system (glorified chat box) for them to then say the item is on order with Fladen "try again tomorrow to see if there is any progress"

So I'm getting a form from VISA to claw this cash back because I'd be surprised if I get it
 
Tony is that a one piece rod or two? i could be wrong but i think a couple of the BSA lads bought Faldden Maximus rods from Boyes at chester le street £20, unless its a different rod with the same name :p
 
think the rod itself is now a moot point Jim lad...don't really care if some lads down the road have seemingly saved themselves 30 odd notes. The point now is whether I'm giong to get the gear or not...I suspect not.

If the proprietor of the "new warehouse" on Coopies Lane is looking in please allay my fears ;)
 
Well i guess i wont bother waiting in on Monday for the postman then, thought it took them 3 days to take the money so not looking good at getting my item in the 7-10 day period i paid for :(
 
Well i never paid on VISA card just a Debt card it was not as much as you but if it is that bad of a company i wont be going down with out a fight. They have a good website so i am still hopeful its a one off with the rod.

Keep us informed i do the same if/when my fender comes.
 
tony i had the same problem with them when i ordered a fladen from them for my mate, it took 3 weeks to get my debit card refunded.no replies to emails or phone calls,the only way i could contact him at morpeth was to pretend to enquire about buying another rod.when i finaly got him on the phone i bet his ears were bleeding when i finished, he was very apologetic refunded card instantly while i was on phone and promised me a big discount on any fishing gear i wanted if visited the morpeth shop.too far out of my way though.
