Just got back from a weekend fishing at Kielder. was the first time trout fishing for over 10 years and cant wait to do it again. it could of got off to a bad start as i was woken up at 4-30 in the morning by a fox trying to get at my bait that i had put at the bottom of the tent but he sharp ran off when a size 11 boot just missed him. court 3 fish a 4lb and a 2lb rainbow and a small brown all on worm. loved every min of the day apart from being eating alive by the midges at the night time cant wait to go back

well done on the catches,my mates got a caravan up there and he was eaten alive up there last summer he had lumps everywhere even on his scalp

Well done on your catch . not fished Kielder yet but know what the midges are like.
