i have had to restock my tackle box with thes

John supplied the original ones which did the business all but 4 of the 35 cod were caught on these with the 5 doubles all hitting them hard. I know others off the site have used john before and may know him as old mouldy - his service is excellent and you always get what you pay for.

deano i know that roger bayzand on sundance 3 out of poole area used to bag up on these before he retired.
 
the link you put up or the ones i have just gotten to be honnest i never fished twin tails/shads much but im gonna give then a go soon as they look mint in the water
 
the ones you got mate - roger used to sell them and when he retired i am led to believe the store you got them from took over from him. They are best fished on a hopper rig.
 
cheers mate ill look into the hopper rig are they fished the same as a shad slow retrive and drop etc they do look good just me thinks the hook is too small should have been a 6/0 but i suppose its down to how much pressure you apply to the fish etc
 
to hopper it mate just use a trace half the length of your rod clipped directly onto your lead clip, lower to the bottom and raise and lower your rod from the horizontal to vertical slowly keeping in touch with the bottom as you do a few goes.
 
Tried the sundance twin tails early on this year on the ground at cresswell, caught a few fish on them but was very disappointed by the quality of the hooks, tiny snags were straightening hooks out, so snipped off hooks and inserted a nice 6/0 vmc which done the trick.

aye your right there with John's service. Have always got what asked for and on time. John will always try his best for you and always advise on the max amount you can order before going into the next weight band for dleivery etc.
