went out for a few hours last night (friday) from about 6 til 9 just went over hard ground near hendon but fishing was poor,went out today about 11am same again over hard ground near hendon lost one decent one but apart from that just small coalies, small codling ,and a few maki,three of us were fishing with different hokkis,jigs and feathers and baited hokkis but not much happening at the minute,sea was pretty lumpy by mid afternoon and called it a day,is any body doing much at the minute, or has it died off,or has all the fish been taken,the fishing was fantastic 4 wek ago and has now seemed to have died off,any ideas why,i was over some wrecks last week and not much better apart from the odd few cod and maki,any body doing any better

Think its just a bit hitty miss, most of my fish have been taken in and around large rock peaks, rather than just hard ground drifting, but there isnt any great numbers at the minute,
