Set off from here lunch time on friday and what a beautiful drive it was sun blaring through the windows not much traffic and some great music to go along with it
The weather was fantastic all weekend and the crack was second to none
Got our selves set up in the tent and dads caravan had an hour or so then off for some fishing
Just through the woods at the back of brighouse bay site was a short climb over the rocks and down onto the waters edge. Hardly any tide as as flat as can be me pal set up his big rod with a whole squid very quiet at 1st so decided to go for a swim there was 2 lads in a small boat about 200yds into the bay so had a swim over to them see if they had done out just a few macky though
Back to the fishing we swapped rods and he had a blast with the spinners but only 1 small pollock, by now i had taken a dogfish of about 1.5lb called it time when the flys and flying ants became a pest.
Took the bairn up to the clubhouse for a dance for an hour or so as shes only 2 and off to kip for the night. Lay around all the next day part from the pool and walks and park and things with abbie
Me davie and me dad headed off on a nice rock mark again back of the golf course this one is more tricky to get too, may dad and davie with big rods and macky and squid straight into doggys i had another small pollock to te spinners unfortunatley i forgot to pick up the floats and jellyworms and things from the caravan. So i moved into the the big rod aswell i ended with 4 doggys and 1 pollock my dad had 4 doggys and davie had 1 doggy i also lost a decent codling as i went to lift it oot the water(spat the hook)
