last night on red light

fished the red light h/pool last night 12th from 5 till 10.30 with m8s..good sea a nice swell in fact conditions were perfect, but the fishing was poor .I managed to get 4 small flatties carl got a small eel [I think he caught this at croxdale in the summer and its been following around wanting to be his pet] jim blanked. we were using runny/rag/squid and mackerel.... there were about 20 fishing but only saw 1 whiting and a tommy caught... people were fishing the heaugh even though the sea were breaking over by the fence [an accident waiting to happen]...still an enjoyable evenings fishing with m8s and much better than my other choice[going to see Disney on ice with our lass at Newcastle] out again on Tuesday at hendon

Nice effort mate shame there was no cod about least you never blanked .
I will be trying to get out some time next week in

Nice 1 bud no blank. I was round the front over high water pulled 2 in just under size n mate got 1 just over I'd say

i saw about 7 cod on there and lots of big whiting on friday night.

most cod were just size but i had one at 4lb 3oz.

It was rubbish at Shields yesterday. Crab was catching small Codling in the river. Without crab u might as well have been building sandcastles on the beach nearby.
