Went down to the beach/rock mark near cresswell last night and fished a couple of hours down. Extremely hard work in a strong northerly breeze. Thought after the big seas might just be lucky but alas no. Did manage to hook up to a couple but they dived straight for the kelp and managed to snag us up and escape. So mark up a blank but thinking positively it was fishing and not alot beats that these days.......
Baits used rag, black lug, mussel- the last two baits very old and very smelly.
