me and me m8 stu fancied a few hours last night with there been a bit surf on arrived as the tide flooded nothing dead it was at first ,took some decent size flounders reaching 33-34cm,s taking 5/0 hooks down 
. i pulled in the first size codling of the night 38cm,s
then next cast another 45cm,s at 2lb 2
at this time stu was struggling but did manage a baby codlet
how very entertaining this become with me winding him up 4 size fish out for me to hes 1 tiddler ,but hes next fish still cudnt make the measure a coalie
then the last laugh was on him hes rod tip lunged down and produce a slackliner quickly he grabbed his rod and struck into it eventually gets it down the side where i took hold of his line and handballed it up a fine cod of 6lb 8 ounces
the wind ups stopped from then on with this nice fish
looks like the fish played ball
he dropped another one off on top the water next cast estimated about 3lb ,he also had another one 1.lb10 ounces + a size flounder then it went dead a canny neet was had from us both and a few fish welldone m8
