me and fatlad decide try somewhere else for a change rather than roker pier ,arrived down at 6.30pm sea basically flat,first cast resulted in a codling at 2lb 10 ounces which had taken the hook right down , kept it for the nieghbour
,followed by a smaller codling on the second cast at about a pound which went back, that was it for me no more fish .
dave was hitting into good knocks and slack liners but would not connect for some reason,he had 4 coalies ,3 was about a 1lb ,and one nice size one just over a 1lb and a 1/2 ,he also scored for a nice lobster too .
and this was my litlle baby lobster i pulled in lol (it went back)
that was it we rapped up at 1.30am and went home, a canny neet and the craic was good as usual
