The principal is good......but you try and pendulum cast with all that clutter on the end gear,flaps about in the swing and does a dive bomb when coming to the power stroke....mind you John as you say "its only me opinion"so divent start a argument.
Could divert to calling tackle shops or fellow anglers instead....

Wasn't me like, it was a fishing comrade next to me. every chuck he got his gear back. lesson learnt there off 44 mark. Mind you I wouldn't advise a pendulum cast off the pier.

Cheers mate. I only do ground cast off of there (never tried pendulum properly), it's enough though. Mind you I think there's some dodgy lead sellers sometimes get on there.

time and place for this cast.....I mainly always fish the open beaches but even then I'm very careful if anyone's to my right hand side...safety first,would never think of using on the pier....well done.

Never thought you would have harry barker. Even when I do the watered down ground cast I always make sure there's no one in the vacinity to my right.

couldn't ya buy two extra weights for that price! so why bother unless ya looseing every cast !!

Never been convinced by lead lifts etc.....remember buying three breakaway no snag leads .....fished shields south east corner on ebb,three casts three snags all gone never bought anymore .......
