libby in whitby (charter)

alreet went on libby today in whitby ... was well seasick ..so was every other person on the charter. was a 3 hr trip out and managed to land codling whiting and mackerel for myself . i heard someone pulled a gurnard but i was too busy throwing up ....i wud go again maybe on calm day but neva again in a swell....first time on a boat in 17 yrs...wonder when my second one will be

get some sea sick tablets down your neck before you go out theres a few of the lads i fish with that swear by them!

Well done on your catch shame about sea sickness,full english breakfast (egg bacon,sausage and beans) used to do trick for me

Ive been se sick before but it was only a little bit for about 30 mins
Couldnt imagine bein really sick ive seen lads that are and it doesnt look very nice

2 sealegs the night before,and 2 in the morning!

however they can make you sleepy,so its a can of redbull before you drive,window open, and bat out of hell on the cd

aye the lad on the charter told me about them tablets when we safely got to the docks and i was filleting the fish then ....bat out of hell not a chance for me mate...the wife preloads reel big fish on the stereo....IRONY that ..i want to catch a real big fish..not listen to reel big fish lol...anyhow i will give it a go again i think ...bloody mid section still hurts of wretching so much yesterday....also did not know cod and whiting wud take plain feathers.....but hey they did ....think i will wait for westerly sorta wind before i even think of charters or even betta just look out on the harbour fisrt before stepping on the boat........ was as green as him yesterday

you will be amazed what fish will take if they are in the mood feeding mode

Try a spoonfull of jam before you go out next... it does not stop the sea sickness but it definatley tastes better when it comes up...

make sure its strawberry
