Come on David... It quite clearly says limited edition on the metal band lol. The usual CME guide wraps are not that blue colour either unless that one I the pic has been rebuilt

Haha. So is it just the whippings that make it limited edition. Any other features different to standard rod.

It does look great hope you sell it quick

Not 100% David bit I've had 2 cme's and the whippings are all I can see that are different... Other than the limited edition writing haha

yea i think it's just the colour that it's built in and the fact it says limited edition on the band.
Lovely tip tho, dunno how it could be numb.

Numb in the tip? I've had two mate and found the bite detection excellent...

Suppose I'm comparing it to me gt bullet n tourney rock, which r very tippy(sensitive):)
Still good rods mind,I bought mine off a cash stricken pal, gave him a ton 4 it,only used a handfull of times:eek::)had it a while now .Very capable rods, used to do a 200grm n bait pretty easy:)Good in a big sea tho as it didn't bounce all over the shop.

200g weight and bait? I found it worked best with a straight 5oz... Decent rods and very user friendly. Agree that your zippy etc probs had better bite detection but then again, your paying more for e rod I suppose.

Nice little thread going here:)my post was a bit misleading,I used to use 5oz/6oz n bait, but was just saying that it was a very capable rod n was more than happy if u were fishing big sea's to do 7oz's n bait if needed,it would manage no probs.Like u say nice easy to use rod, that can chuck a lead if needed.
Best regards houndhunter........

Didn't think it was misleading mate... You were right, the bite detection isn't as good as the zippy but for your buck you get plenty of bang lol. I'd be too scared to use 7oz on anything other than a boat rod lol :D

I've an uptide rod that I would be worried about using a 12oz sinker on mate lol. Don't make them like they used to with the old Apollo!
