Dabs are on the munch now, plenty dabs on the light rod.
Plenty down fishing been another thorny about 6lb at the other end of the prom

After such a promising start only got the one thorny but also had a doggy and about 8 dabs. Just wsiting for the water to drop off enough to fish tommy legs now. I'll post a report later.

NE coast is the pits really going by all reports. All we're seeing is tommy and fishfingers here while the west coast is doing way better.

Just fished tommy legs plenty sport 8 dogs about 15 flats and a few undersized codling. Onto port carlisle now for top water before I head back home.

Cracking session so far Micky, some good species there. Great stuff.

Back home now fished 2 up to high and 2 down at port carlisle before heading back. Unbelievable action from the flounders again, non stop action from cracking quality flounders, best 43cm but loads around 37cm to 40cms. Again all baits took fish but were much more effective if tipping with a tiny sliver of macky.

Back over silloth on monday for more action.
