Out today on "Lady Christine" with my step dad & after a canny days fishing with some decent fish lost my last set of Hokkais & jig!
Last of the rigs in the wallet was a red feather & tinsel rig that my mam had picked up in "Wilkinsons" in our town for less than a quid, threw it on with a 8oz weight along with some herring strip (caught earlier) & first drop the rod was bent over with a 4-5lb codling, then kept bringing them in even after a snag left me with only 2 of the 4 feathers left!
We were fishing just off hendon drifting past the drums, much needed though after blanking the first 6-7 trips out & the amount of grief we have had with engines etc, cant wait to get back out!
