Lobster Pots / Oxfauld

Couldn't resist another trip out tonight. Although the sea had died down there was still a little bit movement. Went to the Lobster Pots first and endured a couple of hag fish and then a rockling. Time for a move to the Oxfauld gully.A good bite first chuck but the fish carried my gear right back in, almost at my feet. Missed it. Next chuck I tried some lug / rag and managed to hook a nice fresh run codling of 3 lbs plus which was carefully unhooked, kissed goodbye and returned as large as life. Had another couple of casts before moving across King Eddy's bay to fish the Castle Rocks for an hour. Only small bites . Still it's nice to catch cod again.

Nice one Marty I only managed a tommy again tonight ,I fished the back of the Kings Arms and then South Beach with Jim ( willywetegg ) who wangled a whiting and managed to get a good bite from me
