heading up here for 3 nights on the 6th September, never fished it before so dont really know much about the place so am after some info on what rigs, hooks and baits ect.. is best to use ? also is it rough or clean ground ?

thanks for any help, Chris

Main rigs I use are pennel pulley rigs in 4/0 hooks as for baits I've had thornbacks and spurs on squid Sandeel mackerel blueys and crab either on it's own or cocktail. Ground wise places can b snaggy at times but also can go a session without losing a rig. Also ragwort will pick up smaller fish like pollock dabs gurnards etc. hope this helps mate
