Anyone fished this recently? Up there shortly, watched a programme on TV (Paul Young) and it fished well but it was an old show so don't know what it's like there at all. Boat booked for the day

Add them as a friend on facebook, It fishes very well according to the catch results. Lot's of big fish and big numbers.
Long way to go though for trout?

Part of a week long holiday/fishing trip, couple of days on bute trout one day and shore the next. Cheers for the pointer.

Hi mate, it can fish really well, but sometimes you can get plagued with Perch, depending what method you are fishing. Also take midgie repellent!

Midgie net acquired and my order into Avon for their version of repellant! I know too well the joys of the West Coast in summer
Be fishing fly from a boat, not had the Fly gear out for a while and looking forward to it, catch reports look promising and obviously a busy venue.

Ah well fly fishing you won't be getting Perch! It is a busy venue, but it's a big loch. Enjoy!
