did you spot 2 crazy metal detectorists on shields little beach tony if ide known you was up there ide waved n smiled lol,,the seas made a right mess of little beach lost alot of its sand

i think a lot of beaches will have lost sand.

in hartlepool after a prolonged s/e wind it sucks sand off the beaches.

a number of years ago, i think after ... hurricane charlie ... for those who can remember it.

a number of our beaches had all there sand sucked away leaving only rock.

it only takes a few northerlies for it to start to return.
