lost my bet

Well what can I say went to roker pier to find it shut so me and my father in law went to the rat house.
well shall I say he got there 2 hours before me sly git lol.
stopped till 11am I got 1 whitey but ooooo nooo he had to win the bet with 5 big whiteys and about 4 small ones, less the wallet empty.
I could not believe it using the same rigs same cast area yet every cast within 40 secs he was getting a bite.
well he won so less said the better good fun though
we met the owner of moonfleet there he was fishing next to us nice to meet you mate and thanks for the razer fish, when people say this guy does not talk you when in shop I carnt understand it as he was a very good guy good chat.
will be visiting there soon.
Well now for the good stuff we tried every bait going but here is the break down on them.
moonfleet boss gave him some sprat and booom whiteys on this line .
me I tried blacks, maki, lug, rag, mussel, but not a sniff, apart from the 1 whitey.

now for the best bit father in law well what can I say.
he used are you ready for it yes here it come

PIGS LIVER

yes that right pigs liver and booom was he catching I tried it and boom never got a bite I think I was just putting the blood in the water for his fish.

anyway see what next week fetches.

Good to meet you lads,Im the manager of Moonfleet though not the Owner but never the less I was amazed as the big whiting attacked the Pigs Liver I've never seen anything like it,I would never have believed it unless I saw it myself

Was once fishing on steetly pier years ago and and old guy was getting double shots of whiting every time on the pigs liver.. Id never heard of it being used as bait until then, tried it myself.. Works a treat! Cheap to buy + if you dont get fishing fry it up with some onions! Lol

I started using it in the summer for float fishing they guy up from
Me was catching on it and I was using rag and I wasn't catching so he have me some and said try that instead of the work and sure enough straight into fish. Cheaper alternative bait like
