wasn't going to fish today but woke up at 5am and the sun was out.had a few frozen crab in freezer so thought id get up and go down crawleys.quite a roll on so no divers about,fished with the 15ft 6 & bait I bought of rod on here and my shimano ultegra with 50lb braid and 100lb leader (off top banana on here ).used the frozen crab on size 1 tronik big dog hooks.id fished here last week with a 2/0 hook and got lots of bites but only one hook up so went right down in hook size,got bites from the off,all small codlings,there must be lots of them around as only in water a few mins before rod was rattling away.nice sunny morning to be out and hope to be out loads more over the summer.ive put a thread in the shore section about flasks if anyone has a recommendation.heres a few pics of the spot and of one little codling,all were the same stamp
