Lottery win

So I don't do the lottery, but occasionally Lynn and I buy one when it is a rollover. I went to check the numbers today and could not find the ticket. Phoned Lynn, as she was looking at it on Saturday night when it was on the kitchen table, she said she left it where it was. Mmm!! Anyway I checked the numbers and I knew I had at least three. Searched high and low, no ticket. Eventually checked the outside bin (on her advice), yup there it was! She is a nightmare. Anyway got really excited when I realalised I had 4 numbers out of 6 and raced expectantly to the local shop where I bought it.

The odds of getting 4 numbers is 650,000 to one............................................. and for that you get a poxy £56!!! :(

Congratulations kayos drinks all round or you could put a few coppers and buy a bottle of Dom for you and Lynn :);)

I had the first 4 numbers out one sat night about 8 years ago, i had a couple of hundred quid spent , it was worth £85 appalling waste of money mate

Its a bloody joke, when it first started I had 4 on one & 3 on another ticket in the same draw. £26 was the winnings. The whole world must have had same numbers lol. Seriously though, when the buggers doubled the price, there should have been a massive exodus.

I think there has been people just sussed its hardly worth it with rubbish odds. When it first started twenty years ago was a whole 1 quid, jackpot was 5million,now you got it wednesdays as well,Euros twice a week, plus daily ones and all the other rip off spin offs everyday.Costs twice as much to play,Odds on winning are astronomical, turning the whole nation into one of gamblers in desparation.

Stopped doing it after realising two lines a time, lotto and Euro was costing over £500 a year for very little or no return a few tenners.Got Better things spend my few quid spare on.

Indeed! We just do it when there is a big prize! Only 28p in the pound goes to good causes! Mind you that is better than the Health Lottery, where only 20p in the pound goes to charity, which is pretty disgraceful!

As said, rip off.

Ive been one off, i had 5 numbers a couple of years ago and got £3,000, one more and i would have writing this from My villa in Tenerife.
