Lower tyne and beach

Me and wallsendfisherman headed for the pier on friday for about 7 oclock, the rain was lashing down and by the look of the sky it was stopping anytime soon . When we arrived at the pier we found the waves smashing over the top so we hung fire untill we thought it was "safe" to gan on. We fished at the light house and I was into codling from the first cast I had one jist sized and the other 2 lb . I also got a small rockling and a dab, then me mate got a codling and then we decided to give the whitley beach a shot , wallsendfisherman got 2 nice cod one 4lb the nxt 3 and a half . Canny nites fishing despite the weather also last nyt we tried seatonsluice beach last nyt and I got one codling about a pound and him a coley suppose it was better than a blank but gd weekend fishing heres some pics

Ana a lost a canny bit like , cheers johnny mate we will have to gan out on fri or sat not sure where a mite get a sneeky sesh in on sunday aswell haha

We were out fri and it was awful soaked through and no fish but it had to be done . well done and some cracking cod lads

well done lads nice few fish for you's ive never know'n my self how bad the front of pier has been ive lost a bit gear to and a few of the lads need a good sea get rid of the old line's down there
