Lyneburn Poor

Tried Lyneburn today, first session of this winter and pretty disappointing, fished one hour up and two hours down from high tide, had one small Bass for my efforts, only thing I was happy about was the Bass was lightly hooked so it went back no problem. I was told Lyneburn was unfishable yesterday so thought I might have been in with a chance but the sea was flat and the fish were gone, that's if they were there in the first place.

Never mind got the cobwebs off the gear if nowt else.

It was bad everywhere yesterday according to the locals down pool today.
Sinkers would not hold bottom. I was disappointed not to nail some nice cod today.

I have fished lyne burn lots of times, dont think i have blanked once apart from one day when the sea was huge, stil i never caught a decent fish there ever just small stuff!

sandy bay beach is stil my favourite, suppose its cos i grew up there practically!

well done on catching the bass and getting it back safley. i haven't been up that way for a while now
