lynemouth beach tonight 9-10

Fished the above 6 til 9 tonight after a blank couple of weeks back. Some good knocks spurred my return! About 630 landed a small coley of 32 cm which was quickly returned. About 7pm couple of small taps followed by a good strong pull which resulted in a codling of 4.5lbs! Felt heavier with scales blowing in the wind but nice fish all the same! Fished 80 yards south of the pipe casting at distance of around 100-120 yards. Both fish took frozen blacks. Lad fishing down from me also said he lost a good fish in the surf earlier. Good signs!

This place has being fishing alright the passed few weeks mate well done on the cod should be a few better ones at the weekend

Cheers mate would have stayed another hour but the rain came on and with the wind blowing the way it was it was hard work. Look forward to the next few weeks.
