hi lads a bit of a late report i went out sat nite for the first time this season sea was droping off nice so i headed up to lynemouth for high water 7.00pm and fished the back of boghall rocks i got one rockling 
in an hour the water was getting a bit shallow so i headed along the beach first cast lots af weed but a fish aswell of 2lb i thought it was a monster tilll i got it in the surf.had a few more cast with just weed and a lot of it coming in and then i got a right thumping bite so i struck started to real in it was coming slowly but surely then i seem to hit a big band off weed 20 mins later a got the fish and the weed in to the surf the fish was about 6 to 8lb with about 15lb of weed raped round i pulled up as the surf come in but as it went back my line just went ping i waved by by to my fish i had one more fish of 2lb of lynemouth then headed to whitleybay for the flood i set up chucked in within a minute i had a fish 3 pound 6 onces second chuck the same size like peas in a pod the third chuck got me a fish 5lb dead i couldnt belive my luck i had loads more bites but i kept getting snaged and missing bites i ended up getting in around 5am a good start to the season
