Had a look up Lynemouth last night during high water for the first session of the season.
Only managed the one, but a canny one to start the season off.
5.8lb on straight lug.

Changed quite a bit over the last couple of years.
Just south of the pipe where the ledge is at high tide, is 4 to 5 times the height now!
The hole in the fence at the car park has now been replaced with a new fence and you can no longer get in that way. You need to walk up towards the arch and left and follow the fence , there's a gate at the end.

nice fish mate. what was the weed like at high water? we fished (or attempted to) low water till about 6pm yesterday but it was absolutely impossible. Dragging in 15lb+ worth of weed within minutes of casting.
Thought it might have got better towards high water but wasn't willing to sit around and wait lol

Practically no weed at all 2 hours either side of high water.
We were 3/4 way south of the pipe.
Only brought one kelp stalk in all night and that was with the fish.
Thought it was bigger!
