first report for quite sometime. went out today on my own just for a couple of hours from Hartlepool and headed to a wreck about 8 mile . fished light with small pirk and a couple of macky feathers. first drop tempted a 6lb cod on macky feather, next drop produced a 4lb cod. then a ling of around 6lb. Then I thought I was snagged but it started to come up. I then thought I had a rock but wasn't convinced as it was wasn't dropping fast after I pumped it up. finally I managed to get it to the surface and it was an 8lb pollock hooked in the back. I had to get back in then to watch the footie, but the fish were feeding well and I am looking forward to a better session soon. sorry no pics, forgot my camera.
