Is there any mackeral showing and if so, what time of the day is best to get them?

early morning or evening time is the best but if they are there in numbers you can catch them at any time during daylight hours.

Was going to give it a bash this sunday, work comitments canceled tht plan 
Heard of people catching the odd 1 further north.
Hopefully there here wen i get a day off, get my self a bit of sport for once.

Hi m8 I find the evening sessions are better as the macky/s seem to come in their thousands but i only catch what i need for boat fishing or winter for coddies.

cheers guys, going to give it a blast tomorrow, might even give it a go from the beach on the way back cos ive got a canny cast on me.
