After last week's success it had to happen really!
Lynn and I had a full day working at the theatre, but with reports of loads of Mackerel being caught the day before we took our rods, as high tide was 6pm and we finished at 5pm, so that would be fine.
Weather was cloudier and breezier than it had been all week(typica!) but reasonable enough. Finished work and walked about fifty yards and set up. Only one other person fishing which was weird. Cast after cast, produced precisely nothing. Lynn got fed up and went for a snooze!
Gave up after an hour and a half. I don't use WSF but I do check it at this time of the year, but I do wonder about the veracity of some reports!
So after last week, normal service has been resumed!
