heading out sat sund in hope of getting some mackerel will they be further out now or will they be still close in we were getting them two weeks ago plenty about but not so many cod we only had 3 codling about 3lb so heres hoping

I got out for a couple of hours on Friday afternoon, weather was good but the sea was like a brown soup. Fingers crossed and hope you have a better day when you go out.

we got out sat went too a couple wrecks 3 mile mark had 3 cooleys two mackerel biggest i have seen pretty much a bad day we headed in about 1 o,clock think thats me done this season getting boat out of water soon do a few jobs good look if boat fishing this winter and thanks for your replies

That's tough Gary. I've been twiddling my thumbs while waiting to get my fuel tank sorted - sludge and the diesel bug - and Sunday looked a cracker. But then I got man-flu. So too did the missus, so at least she believes me now that it does exist. I'll keep plugging away on the better days over winter, but the best part of the season is behind us now. If I catch owt, I'll drop a report in.

i was going to get my boat out of water but i am keeping in water over winter to do some winter fishing then take out in new year for a paint so good luck over winter i will let you know if any good

Morning Gary ,Shady was out on sunday morning 14/11/21
we managed to find 9 mackerel all big fat specimens .its strange getting them so late in the season !
Dont tell Greta Thumberg tho !!
Catch also included lots of small coddlings on the pirks and lures
Stacks of sizeable coalies and whitings all returned to fight another day
Kept the mackerel and a few decent 4-5lbers cod
