makerel yet

seen as we've had a few days of calm weather with big tides is there any signs of mackerel from any piers yet surely they cnt be to far away now this time last year we were pulling them in.

see the shore catch report m8, one huge mac. on roker! not sure but i think jumbo mackrel are loners! (and i read somewhere that they swim around with shoals of whiting in the autumn months.)

i have heard they are getting them off seaham pier knot many mind but they are there

We caught some huge mackeral last weekend about about mile off the Shields piers so It shouldn't be long now I reckon.

Can't wait mate, going to bring the 2 boat rods along that I've got, never used em, might also bring me Slosh30 aswell as I've read somewhere that a Slosh30 with 30lb line will do the trick for wrecking.

Tried 2hrs today along with a few others from Shileds, nothing but coalie and sandeels on lures cast out

you should be ok with that mate a slosh30 will handle most things you chuck at it
